The film was directed by Lee Tamahori and it is based on the science fiction short story " The Golden Man" by Phillip K. Dick. because the director thinks it will be interesting to put this up onto the big screen.

The target audience is people who are interested in science fiction and supernatureal power.The movie is about a man who can be able to see the next 2 minutes of his life. after he met Liz in a Las Vegas diner, she soon must make herself belief that "anything's possible" to the ultimate test when she falls in love with him. Meanwhile, the FBI is looking for him to help stop the detonation of a nuclear weapon.

The name of the movie "Next" mean what is going to happen in the following step, and which is 2 minutes and that is what he can predict for the future.

He can actually predict not just what will happen in the next 2 minutes, but allso 2 minutes after 2 minutes...... unlimitedly.

The main actor Nicolas Cage is a tools of persuasion of the movie. He is a very good actor of futureistic movie, and he present the idea of the movie very well.

At the end of the movie, the was actually not explore yet, the whole movie of the mission was just his prediction, so which mean he predict can be wrong or according to what he is going to di will change the consquence of the mission.
